Can't unlock the phone

Hi lizijun! When it comes to submitting a device unlock request with AT&T here's what you need to know.

First, you should try the steps provided under Website Troubleshooting when you visit AT&T Device Unlock Help - Solutions & FAQs. These can help to resolve your experience with the website.

There are times when we cannot provide the unlock code for older mobile handsets especially if that handset is made by a manufacturer that no longer has a contractual agreement with AT&T Mobility.

AT&T can send you unlock instructions upon request, provided that we can reasonably obtain them from the manufacturer and that you meet the device unlock requirements below.

• The device must be designed for use on, and locked to, the AT&T wireless network.
  It must not be reported lost or stolen.
• It is not associated with fraudulent activity.
• All the device's service commitments and installment plans are completed and all early termination fees are paid in full.
• The device is not active on a different AT&T customer's account.

The reasons listed above are why we require that the original device owner submit the request for device unlock. It's possible to view the list of device unlock requirements here.

Also, if the device isn't an AT&T brand device (AT&T logo appears when the phone is powered on) we will not be able to unlock it. We can only unlock AT&T devices.

If the device is non-AT&T you will need to contact the original carrier of the phone for instructions on how to unlock it. You will find these details under eBay & Non-AT&T Purchases at the article provided above.

What's more, request processing time can be impacted by:

• Delays due to unusually high request volumes (e.g., holidays, major device launches)
• Delays waiting for assistance from the manufacturer.
• Delays waiting for a response from customer for more information.

That’s a common error for anyone outside of the US. Try using a VPN connection to a US based network.

I uses many diffirent vpns to connect a us based network,they works,but the unlock page keeps showing the message.
