Cant unlock a phone as it was flagged for fraud.

Purchased a note 10+ from Samsung several years ago. Used the phone on my att account until very recently. I attempted to unlock the phone for a friend who wants to use it on a different network but it was flagged for fraud. The phone was paid in full when purchased and used on my att account(never overdue) for over 2 years. There should be no reason to mark it as fraud but I can file a BBB report if necessary to get this cleared up as its a bit sketchy for the device to be flagged so it cannot be unlocked.

Hello NickB42, we're here to help look into why your device is being flagged for fraud when you're trying to unlock.

The first step would be reviewing the fraudulent flag applied to your device. Then once that has been removed we can work towards unlocking your phone for you. The Global Fraud Management Organization will be the support you'll need to contact for investigation. Please give them a call at 877.844.5584.
