AT&T “Stolen” Issue
i have an iphone xr infact for a couple of years like 4 and before this it was dads phone and then he passed it along in favor of an iPhone 11 the time, so i got the phone fast forward to last night i trying to text some friends of mine when AT&T would not let me send any messages to my Android Friends and i got (Edited per community guidelines) off and fell asleep, the next morning i did think anything about went to text my friend same issue so i decided to try to make a call i got the “This Device Is Blocked From Network Use” and then i checked AT&T and it says my phone is stolen even tho It been in my home since my dad bought it from the AT&T store.

Hey @sdmyers1209, we understand how important it is to remove the network block on your device, and we'll be happy to help.
Only the original account owner can remove a device from the blacklist, so your father will have to reach out to us and request the device be removed, as he's the original owner. Additionally, did you replace the phone through insurance recently? If so, then the old device will be blacklisted by them, and you'll need to reach out to Asurion instead.
