att active armour

att active armour giving me spe117 ang chat agents dont want to help

they just tell you to call some number to fix as the only option they have  or go to the store 

if i wanted to do either i wouldnt have wen thu chat support

Just a few quick questions to help us point you in the right direction:


-What is the make and model of your device?

- When did you start having issues with the app?


We're asking because we want to provide you with a precise solution for that specific device.


In the meantime, our first recommendation would be to uninstall and then reinstall the Active Armour app from your device. Next, try using the app as normal.  


Our second recommendation would be to turn your device completely off, then turn accessing the app again.


Our third recommendation would be to use this resource to fix Active Armour app issues


Android device: If the Mobile Security app doesn’t update properly from the Google Play Store, try this:

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Find your running apps and tap Google Play.
  3. Tap Clear Cache and then Force stop.
  4. Search for the AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security app in Play Store.
  5. Tap Update.

If that didn’t work, you may have to clear more settings:

  1. Tap Settings then Application manager/Apps.
  2. Scroll to the All section and tap Google Services. (It may say Google Services Framework, Google Connectivity Services, or Google Play Services.)
  3. Tap Clear Data and then Force Stop.
  4. Go back to the list of apps under your device settings and select Google Play Store.
  5. Tap Clear Data, then Force Stop.
  6. Turn your phone off and back on. (This is important!)
  7. Open the Play Store and try updating the AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security app again.

Apple device: If the ActiveArmor mobile security app doesn’t update properly from the App Store, try this:

  1. Go to Settings on your device and tap General.
  2. Tap Software Update and make sure you have the latest version. If you don’t, update it now.
  3. Close settings and open the App Store.
  4. Tap Updates, and select Update next to AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security app.

Still can’t update the app? Get help from Apple support.
