apple watch usage details don't show on my account

why don't text and call usage details from my apple watch show on my account like my iphone does? none of the texts or calls show on my account if read via my watch instead of my phone.

Hello @yadayadayada, we're here to help you.

We would like to let you know that text and call usage details from your Apple Watch may not appear on your account like they do for your iPhone is likely due to how Apple Watch handles the function.

  1. eSIM and NumberSync: Apple Watch Series 3 and later models with cellular capability use an embedded SIM (eSIM) to connect to the cellular network. When you make calls or send texts from your Apple Watch, it can use a feature called "NumberSync".  NumberSync allows your watch to share the same phone number as your iPhone, making it appear as if the calls and texts are coming from your iPhone.
  2. Syncing Data: While calls and texts made from your Apple Watch may appear to come from your iPhone's number, the actual data (e.g., call logs, text message history) may not always be synced immediately or in the same way as your iPhone's data.
  3. Billing and Account Details: Usage details, including calls and texts, are associated with your primary phone number and device (your iPhone) on your account. While the Apple Watch shares the same number, it may not share the same billing and usage detail visibility.

We suggest you can also contact our customer care at 800-331-0500 they can provide insights into how they handle Apple Watch usage details and whether there are specific settings or features you need to enable to see this information on your account.

Thank you,

Because your Apple watch uses data. The only thing your Apple watch is going to show is data usage - no calls - no text
