Adding a line for my child - Can I use the new phone and give them my used one?
I'm adding a line for my youngest child. I have a 3-4 month old iphone 14. The best deal for a new line is the iPhone 14 PRO, so I'd like to add the line but put the PRO on my line, then put my standard 14 on their line. I assume this is doable, but thought I'd reach out here before proceeding with my online purchase.

Absolutely.
You can add a new line, buy the new phone. And then when the new phone arrives activate it on the new phone number. Please note you must activate the new phone on the new phone number. And then use the transfer eSIM option to move the esim between phones
After you've done that you can do the shell game switching your E-Sim to the new phone, and then switching the new phone number onto your old phone.
Followed by transferring all of your data between phones,
