Number Sync S2 classic...

Phone: Note7    Wearable: Gear S2 Classic

 

So heres the issues.. "Unable to sync messages. AT&T Messages Backup & Sync must be enabled." I get this message everytime I reconnect and disconnect bluetooth. I also recieve that message when turn off and on the Gear 2.

 

So I dont recieve and send text messages with my Gear 2 with the synced phone number. However phone calls work flawlessy. Yes I've factory resetted mulitple time, resynced a few dozen times. All with the same message. I have spent approx 7 hours over the past 3 days with store locations and "protech" support. Anyone else having these issues.?

I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’ve had syncing your messages! Messaging is the basically the best way to keep in touch with people, so we want to help you get that going!

 

It sounds like you’ve gone through much trouble with this, my apologies for all the frustration!

 

Have you checked the messaging settings on your Note 7? As the error message is factual, in that you need to have AT&T Messages properly configured on your phone in order for the message syncing to work in any capacity.
