Uverse APP

We have Not been able to Sign-in to Our Uverse APP since Sept. 12-13th!!

Have spoken to MANY  People in Retention,  and Tech Support.....but only Two, were even Aware of this Ongoing Issue!!??

Called last week, and finally got a Great Phone Rep. half way Around the World in 

India, who was Very Knowledgeable, and was Able to put a FIX-IT Ticket in for Us♡.

But......as of Today,

Tuesday October 12, 2021.....An ENTIRE MONTH LATER...We STILL CAN NOT LOG IN TO THE Uverse APP !!

My Spouse has been Trying to Log In Since Pre-Season Football Started, ....to be Able to Watch the Games IOn His Laptop (NO TV AVAILABLE )

But,:To NO Avail !

Let's just say......He's NOT HAPPY,  WITH THE LACK OF CONCERN,  ON THE PART OF AT&T!!

NEITHER AM I!

(I Worked fir AT&T Corporate...In Oakland and San Francisco)....for  Many Years...

and I'm So DISGUSTED with what Randall Stevenson,  (and Others)....have Done to RUIN the INTEGRITY of AT&T!!

And the Way THEY TREAT  LOYAL,  PAYING CUSTOMERS, IS APPALLING!

JUST SAD !!

WE WANT ANSWERS!

and CREDIT FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO USE the Uverse APP, ON OUR DEVICES for A MONTH.....AND COUNTING!!

The att help answer by @MamaMary1  is a classic example of how bad att is.  Sorry no timeline for a fix. (It’s been over a month since we all have had this problem )..and you’ll know it’s fixed when you can log in ….smh. Sorriest answer ever !!!

The same is happening for me….AT&T is horrible!!!! I can’t wait for Verizon Fiber Optic to be available in my area….I’ll leave AT&T quickly.

@browndk26 & @gr8sho….. you both are incorrect. I’m a Flight Attendant and I WAS able to access U-verse from ANYWHERE using the app until a couple of weeks ago.

The only help you’ll be able to get in the forum is from other users.  Formal help only comes through the 800 number, and you already know about that.  

Have a look in this thread and see if it’s able to get you moving forward again.

The app is free so credit would be inappropriate. Accessing U-verse on a pc or laptop has not been available for several years.

I was told last week by a support rep that I would be notified ‘when I. Sn log in’ duh! For those that say the app is free, no credit necessary.  I beg to differ.  For some, like me I use it when I travel and the service I cannot watch at home I am supposed to receive on your app.  

This plus finding out they donate to OAN, yuck!

Have never been able to access Mine either! Can't use when I travel. Pay to have AT & T service but internet doesn't work half the time and this app never works when I would like to use at night or traveling! I changed to A T & T for price now it is higher than my previous carrier!

@terricardwell Uverse TV is a grandfathered service and now managed by DirecTV.  No clue about their future plans, but once customers leave, it’s permanent.  

@Kjjdorsey951 Uverse TV was never a nationwide service and the app will not work when traveling outside of their service area.

Same problem, same issues. Worked fine until a few weeks ago then just stopped allowing login. Absolutely no help from anyone.

From my neighbor who works for AT&T….U-verse was grandfathered in & when customers leave U-verse, it’s no longer offered. AT&T wants all customers to use Direct TV. Repairing the U-verse issues isn’t a priority for AT&T. The goal is for U-verse customers to leave and pickup Direct TV.

Like many others, I enjoyed watching U-verse when I travel and/or being able to DVR shows (on demand) while away from home.

I’ve been with AT&T U-verse since early 2000’s and it’s sad the way long term loyal customer are being treated.
