Signal Lost

My U-verse signal was lost twice today. First time, it came back on, second time, no. I followed the instructions. When I reboot from the receiver, the TV picture comes back on for about 10 seconds then goes back to lost signal, so I contacted ATT tech and they set up an appointment. I can't do anything with the gateway because it's located behind the TV and unfortunately I'm disable, so I can't handle that. This is really strange because I've lost signal before and this has never happened, it always comes back on by it's self. Any ideas?

There are many things that can cause signal loss, from loose cable connections to an unstable Internet connection. When the technician arrives, they'll be able to find out what caused it and provide tips on how to prevent it in the future.
