Question that keeps getting asked "Hallmark and coming back to U-verse?"

After reading all the posts on here about Hallmark and the questions on when will Hallmark come back to U-Verse?  I did some digging and found 2 contacts for Crown Media that maybe your questions should be directed to.

 

After learning that AT&T has sent an offer to Crown Media in the last few months and crown media seems to be setting on it.  Maybe it is time to start sending these two your questions about all of this?

 

After all Crown Media is the one who has 2 points of contact under Corporate contacts on their web site that may be beneficial to start an email campaign to these two to see if they can give you all an answer on why they are not working with at&t on offering the Hallmark channels on U-Verse again.

Posting in here is not addressing the issue completely as it appears AT&T is trying to negotiate with Crown Media and it is Crown Media who is holding this up.

 

So why not start emailing or calling Allison, Director and/or Christina, Coordinator about Hallmark on U-Verse.  I am not violating any laws by putting their names on here as I got their name, email address and even contact phone number off the Crown Media Corporate Contact section of their web page. 

 

Here is the URL again if anyone cares to contact these two and ask them the same question that is being asked in this forum "When will Hallmark be back on U-Verse?"  and yes I have sent these 2 an email this morning posing this very question.

Thanks if you go to that link on that page there are two different contact pages.  I sent emails to everyone at Crown Media and asked the same question to all of them.  Maybe it will do some good, who knows at least I tried.

We just changed from Charter to Uverse in March. The only reason was because the salesman said that AT&T will merge with Direct TV in May and Direct TV does have a contract with Crown Media which AT&T will acquire. Maybe just salesman fast talk. We'll find out in the next month or two.

Any merger is still years away...if it happens at all. The SiriusXM merger took several years to finalize. I believe it was announced and approved in 2008 and billing only was merged in the past 2-3 years, making it 3-5 years between announcement and finalization.

 

Plus...any channel merger...who knows. Crown Media could easily say that they DON'T have a contract with AT&T, therefore, any lineup may or may not have their channels on it. I am reminded of a channel that changed to a new channel, but still was on a repeating loop of old shows with Dish.. I think I'm thinking of Nick GAS.

So I see my post has been read 184 times.   Has anyone sent Crown Media an email asking them about when Hallmark will be coming back to U-Verse or am I the only one emailing Crown Media and asking that question? 

 

I am taking a scene from Shawshank redemtion and sending Crown Media an email a week.  At some point all those people may get tired of seeing emails from me or just flag my email as junk or spam.

 

But it is better than just setting here posting to at&t U-Verse board about this.  If most of you reading these post really want to make a difference at some point you all need to try and contact Crown Media who owns Hallmark.  After all at&t has sent an offer to crown media and is not at&t holding this up it is crown media.   

 

So if you all really want to make an impact try asking crown medai maybe you will get an answer from them.   So far I have gotten no reply but that doesn't mean I am going to stop asking them via email.  If I don't get a response from them by email, I may just start calling each persons phone number they have listed on their corporate web site.

Keep in mind that a lot of those views could be the same people over and over again...plus the "bots" that crawl the internet and give Google, Yahoo, etc. their search results.

A great post, Wolvrine 1958 ...  I sent two emails this morning.  Let's hope that it helps.  We need to be proactive on this, and hopefully, be a part of the solution..  All of you, out there, who wish for the return of Hallmark, please write.  It can't hurt!

I got on the Hallmark website and they have a form to fill out if your service provider doesn't carry their service. I think this is the second time I've filled if out.

Thanks for posting this @Wolverine1958.  I also post on Hallmark TV USA's Facebook page and send them FB messages, every few weeks.  This is where I learned that they were deciding.  It sure is odd that everyone feels that it is only AT&T's call not to carry them.

I sertiously doubt that as ATT is already on board stating they would not bring Sunday Night Ticket to Uverse.  Would think that also applies to other programming being brought over from DirecTV.

 

Besides the fact, the merger was put on hold a few months ago as it has to be better investigated before any decision can be made and won't be made in 1 month. 😉

Well maybe my suggestion had a part in getting this issue resolved.  Now that it is done, I just put in my order to have U-Verse installed at my home.  Good-bye to my old provider I hae been with for 17years.  Time to go with the new kid on the block who seems to have better rates and service.

 

Great job to all those who sent emails and filled out forms to Crown Media.  Seems this may have helped.

Bugging "The Powers That Be" via social media may not ALWAYS get things done, but it's a lot better than calling a call center in "who knows where."
