Newsmax cancellation
I've been an AT&T wireless customer since the beginning of cell phones. I have 8 lines on my account but will definitely cancel my service as soon as phones are paid off. It's a shame AT&T has sunk this low. Now I find out that our tax dollars are paying for lucrative government contracts being awarded to your company.

@aldo55 Newsmax recently decided that they wanted to start charging U-verse a substantial fee to carry their channel, where they were not requesting a fee before. The cost was unreasonable to AT&T/U-verse, negotiations were started but couldn't come to an agreement, so Newsmax pulled their network feed. It did not make good business sense to pay for something that was essentially free before, especially when Newsmax had nothing else to offer (other services or channels).
Newsmax will be replaced, at least on DirecTV with The F1rst, featuring Bill O'Reilly so you can still get similar entertainment. Or you can watch Newsmax for free on their website or switch to another provider, like Comcast who still carries Newsmax, so far.

The F1rst is also on U-Verse.
People who think AT&T is biased against their political beliefs should look up who AT&T donates to.
