My On Demand shows aren’t available on tv, and can’t watch recordings on app

Hello! I have a couple of questions.
I cannot watch my recorded/DVR shows on my U-verse app. Is that normal? If so, why in the world can’t I watch on my phone for something I pay for?

I have also added on demand episodes via my app to watch, but they don’t show up on demand on my U-verse through tv. Is that normal? If so, what the heck? I have tried to mirror my phone screen to my Vizio tv so I can watch it on my tv but it gives me a (Edited per community guidelines) message. I don’t have any jailbroken technology unless it’s considering screen mirror as something jailbroken which doesn’t make sense to me either

I apologize if these have been answered before...I am having a lot of trouble with the att site and it’s making it a nightmare to search or even login to my normal account currently

The ability to watch recordings remotely (phone) has never been a option with Uverse.

The Uverse app does not mirror what you have on your TV, be it channels or On Demand content.

What you are experiencing with the app is normal.

You normally cannot mirror content from a mobile device to an external monitor on AT&T apps either via airplay or HDMI cable, based on the agreements that AT&T has with the content providers to not do so.

The U-verse App does not allow watching of recorded content, never has, and at this point, never will.

The U-verse App's OnDemand features are not related to the receiver's features.

Thank you!! I’m fairly new to U-verse. We had PlayStation Vue for a long time and were spoiled with what we could do via the console and the app

I appreciate your response!

A lot of channels have their own apps. Perhaps what you seek is on one of them.
