Access to DVR from uverse.com or mobile app not working
I log into my uverse account. I know it is logged in because it tells me how much I owe on my bill, etc. When I go to "access my dvr," it goes to the screen where you can search for programs, etc., but when I find a program and tell it to record the series or the episode, it tells me to upgrade my service to access the feature and offers one button: Order Now. I click on that and it takes me back to the login screen for my account. I already subscribe to the highest uverse package both for cable and internet. I tried to set a show to record using my uverse app on my phone and it said that the uverse mobile service was temporarily unavailable right now when I tried to log in. When I look online, there is no indication that uverse is down, and my receivers are all working normally with the remote controls. Any ideas?

@MichelleBowden You have a misunderstanding of how U-Verse works as far as mobile apps and your DVR goes. You are not alone in this, misunderstanding. AT&T doesn't want to come out and tell you this as they think that folks might think of it as a negative. You can not watch recorded content from your DVR online, via an app and so on. What doing a search will do is it will allow you to determine if a show that you have on your DVR can also be played as a Video on Demand title. It is not the copy that is on your DVR but if it is available as an online title, you can watch the title online and then remotely delete the title from your DVR.
When the uverseonline.com page went live, there was a tab marked "Your DVR." Even I originally thought that meant that youy could watch your own DVR, online. In the end, all you can do is add or delete recordings. On my Android mobile app, I do not have an "Access my DVR" tab, I have a "Recordings" tab. All that does, is to allow me to read cast details and delete. I don't know what else it does, as it can't connect with the server. AFAIK, the onl;y TV provider that allows remote viewing of their DVR is DirectTV and that is via a Slingbox type setup.

Hi, and thanks for the response. I get that, but my problem is that I
cannot even tell it to record a program. It tells me to "order now,"
when I click the "record episode" or "record series" buttons.

Same problem here, can't access voicemail, check or delete DVR recordings, etc. Good to know it's not just me or my computer.
