Your HBO Max Subscription through AT&T has Expired
The other night I was experiencing issues streaming anything on HBO Max. I have a subscription through AT&T's Elite Unlimited Plan. Under the "Account" section on any HBO Max platform it stated "Your HBO Max subscription through AT&T has expired". I tried all the usual trouble shooting: logging out, logging back in, resetting the devices. I contacted HBO support and they were unable to assist.

Hello Community,
This issue is usually caused when a customer has multiple products with AT&T that were getting HBO included, and one went away. For example, if you had wireless and DirecTV, you may have had HBO Max included with both of them. However, you may have lost that bonus for one or the other product based on your plan or promotion expiring. This can cause confusion in the system.
To resolve, please log out of all of your devices that use HBO Max.
Once all HBO Max enabled devices are logged out, then try logging in with only the product you currently get HBO Max included with. If you have DirecTV with HBO Max, use your DirecTV login. If you get HBO Max with our unlimited wireless plan, use your AT&T login.
You can also find a complete list of steps to troubleshoot this error on our HBO Max Help page.
If after doing this, you still have the issue, please ask a new question and we'll assist as soon as possible.
Thanks

Let's help get you back signed in to HBO Max so you can start streaming the latest movies, betens!
First things first, make sure you can sign in to your provider account. Your provider is who you signed up through or who bills you for HBO Max. Go to your provider's website and sign in with the username and password credentials for your provider account. If you can't remember or don't know your sign-in information, look for a help or reset password link on your provider's sign-in screen.
You'll find personalized troubleshooting tips specific to how you are subscribed by visiting the HBO Max Help Center. You will also find troubleshooting based on the device you're using. Lastly, check out additional ways that can impact your streaming experience by viewing our Forums article titled Streaming Troubleshooting - Are You Getting The Signal?
If these gems don't help you access and stream HBO Max, come back and let us know so we raise a case escalation for further investigation.
Thank you for connecting with the AT&T Community Forums!

Did you modify your phone plan in any way? AT&T agents are no longer able to add HBO Max back to the plan once it been changed. I added a new line, even with Unlimited Elute Plan that clearly says I have HBO max, they cannot add it back. I work with digital services, HBO max, and direct tv agents to tried to get it back. Bottom line, the agents are not able to get HBO max subscription to sync up because of the digital services cannot add the feature back to the account.

This keeps happening! This was one of the features on why we decided to go with AT&T and now this happens. I personally think they need to fix this issue, give discounts or allow my family to switch plans. It is unfortunate getting a service and not being able to use what was given. Very poor on their part.
