Stop HBO MAX texts.

I'm apart of a family group plan for At&t. I am not the sole account holder. I do not have the account ID or password. Nor do I want it. I already have HBO Max. I've gotten one text a day for 2 weeks offering me an HBO Max subscription. I don't want it. I text "OFF" "STOP" "I DON'T WANT IT" "PLEASE GOD PLEASE LET ME BE" "I BEG OF YOU LEAVE ME ALONE" and the like to get these to stop.

My pleas are only met with

"AT&T Auto Reply: Text message replies are not monitored. If you have questions please visit att.com"

And now I'm here.

We'd like share a tip that may help with opting out of receiving the HBO Max advertisement message @.

You can choose how you want to receive marketing or promotional messages from us. Or you can choose to opt out from all AT&T marketing messages.

The account owner or authorized user will need to make these changes for you.

How to update your communication preferences:

  1. Go to Profile>Communication preferences
  2. If you have multiple accounts, select wireless from the drop-down at the top.
  3. In the Privacy options section, select Marketing preferences.
  4. Update and save your marketing profile preferences.

We hope this helps and let us know if you have additional questions.

Thank you for reaching out to AT&T Community Forums.

This isn’t att.com.  This is forums.att.com which is a forum of other customers not AT&T.

Yes. I am very aware. I went to att.com, but alas there was no visible option for "Stop HBO texts". Thus I searched for a customer support chat. I then followed the many channels that is purposely made to ensure no one actually reaches the customer support chat. To which they lead me here.

Have the same problem--Endless PUSH Notifications on all devices that I am not using my "free" HBOMAX account for the Elite plan I signed up for. Don't need HBO MAX, and it was not the reason I signed up for the Elite plan.

The directions above are incorrect"

"3. In the Privacy options section, select Marketing preferences." when logged into account as primary user.

There is no such option!

Please help.
