HBO Max tile not available on Unlimited Elite plan

I switched from Verizon to AT&T in Nov 2021 and signed up for unlimited elite plan.  I never got access to HBO Max and have patiently waited over 2 months calling AT&T customer service and digital assistance center 8 times.  They are not able to fix the problem.  They kept on telling me to call HBO Max and I did (3 times) and they said they can't give me subscription when AT&T hasn't given me subscription.   When I log into my account on website or on my phone app, I don't see a "Activate HBO Max" tile.  I have logged out logged in about 30 times by now.  Still don't see "Activate HBO Max" tile.  And under my account, it says I have Unlimited Elite plan and HBO is included.  It's been over 2 months and I switched over from Verizon to AT&T for HBO Max and I still don't have it.  This is a scam at this point.  Anyone had any solution?

Hello jslee, we'd be happy to help you get signed into HBO Max.

Follow the steps listed to set up your HBO Max activation.

  1. Go to your myAT&T account overview
  2. Look for the Activate HBO Max tile.
  3. Choose Activate, if asked.
  4. Download HBO Max from your app store.
  5. Open HBO Max and select the person icon.
  6. Choose Sign in, then Sign in with a Provider.
  7. Select AT&T and enter your user ID and password to start streaming.

Hopefully this information helps, and thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums.

I don’t see Activate HBO Max tile on my account when I log in as my title suggested.

Hello jslee, thanks for the additional details on getting HBO Max activated.

It's key that you sign into att.com via a desktop browser to login to your my AT&T account. Also, we recommend reinstalling the HBO Max app for the latest version.

I did all of that about 30 times.  I have my case number is CM20220118_152267443.

ERAM 247100000745.  Please look into this.  They can’t fix this issue for over 2 months.

I’m also having the same issue. At one point I was able to access it for months and then 2 weeks ago it said my subscription expired. I have also been on the phone repeatedly and still no access. I have the Elite plan which includes HBO Max. I have been instructed to use Hbo Max tile on my browser logging into Att but it isn’t there.
