I was on the phone twice yesterday for hours. I was told a Supervisor would call me back in an hour. That was at 5:30 yesterday it’s 9:00 am and I still have not heard from anyone. Back in September of 2017, I was given HBO for LIFE. I have not changed my plan or left ATT but as of January 2022 I am being billed for HBO. I am still alive!!!! I want my HBO at no charge as you told me I would have for life. I understand it’s the life of the contract, please restore my HBO, and provide me with 3 months credit.

That is not the kind of service we want for our customers, @Ladyinindy! We got just the thing that can help restore your free HBO service.


It is possible that you will need to verify your subscription:

  1. Go to the myAT&T account page.
  2. Look for the Activate HBO Max tile.
  3. Choose Activate, if asked.
  4. Sign into HBO Max (see the next step)

For more info, go to AT&T's Stream HBO Max with AT&T Unlimited plans article. If you selected another Premium in the past 12 months, you may need to wait to change to HBO Max.


AT&T requires its customers to reverify every once in awhile just to make sure they still have service with us. Your membership will have transferred from HBO to HBO Max which includes original content.
