If you're recording a lot of shows to watch later, keep in mind that those recordings use the streams. If you're watching something previously recorded, those are a different set of streams.
What you can do is look for "oddball" times for many of those recordings, such as 2:30 or 5 AM when those streams are guaranteed to be available.
