Uverse DVR fails again

Today I turned on my TV to watch a program that was supposed to be recorded last night. Instead, I was treated to a 20 minute reboot of my DVR--not initiated by me. And then the program wasn't recorded at all, even though there is a series recording for it. The show is on demand, but with on demand, you have to watch all the commercials. Not happening. My DVR failed a few months ago and I lost all my programs and now it failed to record. FAIL. NOT HAPPY.

Hi @cmsorenson,

 

I am so sorry about the issues you are having with your DVR, but I will be glad to help. Here is a great post that covers basic DVR troubleshooting. Since this is at least the second time it has failed, there may be an issue with your DVR, and we may need to get it replaced. I will be happy to help with that and will be sending you a private message to further assist.
