New gateway box installed. Now TVs don't work!

A power spike killed my gateway, so ATT sent me another one. It powered up fine and transferred my settings. Internet and phone are working fine, but none of my TV boxes work. I assume ATT has to "authorize" them but I can find no way to do this online. The phone system just said "we are busy due to Covid-19" and hung up on me. Any suggestions?

Make sure that the ethernet connections for your DVR, any wired receivers and the Wireless Access Point (WAP) have been connected to the yellow ethernet jacks on the back of the gateway. If still not working, unplug the gateway, DVR, WAP, and all receivers for 30 seconds. Then reconnect the gateway, allowing it to fully restart. Follow with the DVR, then the WAP, then any Wired receivers and finally any wireless receivers.

If this doesn't work, you'll have to tough it out and continue trying 800.288.2020 for a service call. Wait times have been over two hours this week.

I checked all of that and nothing worked. I ended up Just waiting an hour and they all woke up. Something must have needed to propagate through the network.

Did you try rebooting the receivers after you got the new modem?

Yes, many times. It took about an hour but all of the boxes woke up and are working fine now. Thanks.
