New DVR technology?

Hello I'm having trouble finding out what the newest Dvr box that is available in my area? (Greensboro ,NC) Ive talked with several CSR reps and they are not in the loop. Can someone tell me what's available and how I could obtain such a thing? Thanks in advance!
