My DVR is not recording
I have had Uverse for about a year. It has been working fine, recording all my shows, etc. About a month ago, however, when I went to my recordings, they were all gone and a message said "The Recordings list is unavailable. Make sure this TV receiever and the DVR reciever are connected to the network."
I have tried restarting all systems and still no result.

rcharbonneau - This was on the DVR itself or another STB? If it was another STB it could be a bad/loose connection.
First thing to try is a whole house reboot -
Remove power from RG, DVR & all STBs.
Restore power to RG & waait for all green.
Restore power to DVR & wait for viewing ability. Maybe see if your records have returned.
Restore others.
If that does not work, it maay be that the DVR got stuck in applying an upgrade. You can try for a destructive restore, where your recordings are erased. But, aren't they gone already?
You must do this on the front panel of the DVR itself, not on the remote:
1. Press and hold down the power button.
2. Within 1 second, also press and hold down the OK and down arrow buttons.
3. All 3 front panel lights (red, green, blue will come on). At this point, release the power button, but continue holding down OK and down arrow.
4. When you see a gear appear on the screen, release OK and down arrow.
The system will reload the factory software from the network. This will take 20-30 minutes, and then the system will reboot.
If that does not work, call for a new DVR.
