IPH8010 causing picture setting on VIZIO V655-H19 to grey out

I have an IPH8010 DVR and when watching cable on my VIZIO V655-H19 the color settings are greyed out and cannot be selected or changed.  I called VIZIO and they said it was because the box was sending an RGB signal to the TV.  This doesn't occur with my streaming devices or gaming consoles, and I cannot find any way to change the signal on the IPH8010 to YUV420, or even see what options I may be able to choose.  Does anyone know how to change the signal from RGB to something else on the DVR?

What connection are you using from the receiver to the TV?

 

Are all the connections tight and secure? 

 

Do you use an HDMI cord?

There isn't anyway to change what colors the DVR is outputting.  You should be connecting via hdmi.  At that point your only decision on the DVR is 720p or 1080i.  (1080p is not broadcast by at&t).  and stereo or fake surround sound output for sound.

I don't know why you'd want to change color anyways.  On my Vizio E55-F1 it gives me the option between RGB & YCbCr but I just have it set to auto. And manually changing it between the 2 doesn't change anything.
