DVR Recordings Disappearing
I had 43 recordings as of last night. When I turned it on to watch a movie tonight it said I had 34. After the movie it now says I have 16 recordings..... It says I have 83% of space left so that wasn't the proble. I've only started using AT&T for cable in December and this is a horrible impression... Does anyone know what's going on?

Are all your recordings set to..... keep recording until space needed?

I would re-boot the DVR. If theat doesn't work re-boot the entire system. Unplug all receivers. Unplug AT&T router (RG). Plug RG back in and wait until it comes up. Plug in DVR and wait until you can watch TV on the TV connected to it. Then power up all the rest of the receivers.
I did see where you said you had plenty of space left on the HD, but if you have a series set to keep 1 episode it will erase the one you have and only keep the new. That's the only reason I was asking.

If the DVR functions are still not working, try a Non-Destructive Disaster Recovery.
Unplug the power cord of the DVR from the wall or from the back of the box and wait ten seconds. Plug the DVR back in.
When three white dots appear on the screen, unplug the DVR again. Repeat this process two more times.
Plug the DVR back in on the third time and leave in. Three white dots appear followed by a gear with a status bar at the bottom of the screen.
If the Disaster Recovery screen does not appear, repeat the steps above. If the Disaster Recovery screen appears, wait until completion.
If the Non-Destructive Disaster Recovery does not work, follow the steps for a Force Disaster Recovery
Will not erase recordings, takes a bit of time or so. Good luck 😉
