DVR program guide information is incorrect

I have set my DVR to record Antiques Roadshow on WBIQ in Birmingham, Alabama, zip code 35216 in the Central Time Zone for years. Starting about a month ago, the program recorded at the time denoted was NOT Antiques Roadshow that was described in the program guide. This week, it was not even Antiques Roadshow, but a documentary about deaths in the Civil War. I have reported the problem to the TV station and to AT&T Uverse. I finally got AT&T Uverse to refer the problem to a supervisor with a promise to keep me updated. I have heard nothing. I am about to appear on a broadcast, and I want to make sure I get it recorded. HELP!

It's supplied by FYI Television, not a specific 'bad' employee, and ATT can not check every Guide description or entry.  They have problems w/syntax, spelling and not finishing sentences, but I guess they are in the price range ATT wants to pay. Smiley Mad

I wonder how much work they do on the stuff they get from the channels.  You know that the program information has to arrive at FYI electronically.  They may have to edit down the information that comes from the channels for space, but I'd say 90% of the issues are carelessness on the original program provider, not FYI.

If it was coming like that from the stations/networks, people would be fired for some of the incompetent errors that occur.

In the case of incorrect info for "Off The Record" (about politics in MI) on public TV in MI, they reported a one-time only program from a religious origination in NC.  Twice I had to get this fixed.

I've checked a number of errors on the Guide w/Titan TV and Titan TV was correct.Smiley Surprised

Confusing the content from two different channels (not owned by the same people) probably wouldn't be the channel's fault.

Confusing a weekly program, on many public stations here in MI, by giving the description of a one time only program from 7 years ago, on a religious channel, is incompetent on FYI's part. Smiley Mad
