Constantly Setting-up Wireless Receiver Every 2-3 Weeks
I moved almost 3 months ago and since then I am continuously having to re-setup my wireless receiver in my bedroom. My wireless receiver always loses the connection after 12am, every 2-3 weeks. I follow the instructions on the screen and it can take up to an hour or more for the wireless receiver to reconnect. It usually gets stuck on the black screen with the 3 dots that says “Please Wait” or the blue AT&T U-Verse screen. Then after 20-30 minutes, either the screen will say “Gateway/Access Point Not Found or connection error” or I get annoyed and start all over again. After an hour or more later the wireless receiver will finally connect. This is annoying! I have had the Cisco model #ISB7005 for almost 2yrs, but the problem just started 3 months ago. I never have a problem with my main receiver in the living room, just the wireless receiver in the bedroom. Do I need to get a new wireless receiver? Or do I need to call in a tech to look at it?

It would be easiest for you, and easiest for the technician, to simply switch out your equipment for new....I would also ask them to check the gateway and for signal loss as long as they are there. Can't hurt to know you're getting your full profile speed.
...So, to be of further help, Google: U-Verse Customer Service phone number. Call them and tell them the problem. ASK them to have a technician come out to fix a hardware issue. They may want you to do some troubleshooting, but try to get a tech out there...it shouldn't be too hard. Like I said, ultimately it's faster to simply provide newer equipment than pinpoint the problem.

Thank you Setherson. I will call customer service and push to get a tech to come out and look at the equipment. Thanks again!
