Cancelling TV from a TV+Internet Bundle, Email says to return DVR AND Wireless Access Point?

Hello,

I recently cancelled my TV from a TV + Internet bundle, and kept the internet. I expected to send back the dvr unit, but the email says "gather the following devices", and lists the arris dvr, but the next line says "please return any of the following" and lists the wireless access point. I'm assuming this is just a generic equipment return email, and they only mean for me to return the dvr?

Thanks

All you should keep would be the gateway (modem) for internet service.

Ok, i think i was confused between the wireless access point and the gateway. the only other piece of equipment i have now is the BGW210, I don't think i have a wireless access point. Or was it a necessary piece of equipment and I'm just crazy? my dvr was plugged via ethernet cable to the gateway.

Thanks all

You would have a WAP is you had wireless receivers.  It's a small white box attached to the gateway.

For TV service:  Gateway -> WAP -> Wireless receiver

For Internet service:  Gateway only (wifi is provided by gateway)
