ATT U-Verse app not working, doesn't remember log in info on iPhone.

I've been a U-Verse customer since the service was introduced. I have used the U-Verse daily until the past couple of weeks. The app doesn't remember my log in name or password. No facial recognition. Every time I try to use the app I have to sign in, put in my password, accept the Neilson (Edited per community guidelines), and then half the time I get into the app, the other times I get booted back to the sign in screen. I know this is an issue, I'm certain by now ATT knows it's an issue. Has anyone had any luck getting any information from ATT on how to correct this, or any timeline when they plan to have it corrected?

Het ATTHelp, are you going to even acknowledge these issues? Or do you just want to run customers away? It's really easy to switch cable companies.

I am currently having the same issue, but I haven't seen any fixes or acknowledgement of the issue or when it will be resolved. This is a recent issue, too, as the U-Verse app used to work without any problems.

We're aware of the trouble that some customers are having with the U-verse app, ms14pink.

 

When it comes to signing in, using your U-verse Member ID, not your Access ID, should work. You can get info about your IDs for signing in on our website, if you need it. If you can't sign in with the Member ID, consider removing the 3rd Party Access ID from your account.

 

We don't have an estimated resolution time, but we appreciate your patience while we work on this. If you need help with anything else, just let us know.

Thanks for the response. The issues I'm encountering with the U-verse app occur when I sign in with my U-verse Member ID. I'm not using an Access ID, but my Member ID ([email scrubbed]).

The app will not keep me signed in, regardless of me selecting to remain signed in. Reference the issues/steps MrRandyB noted above.

I'm not sure what a 3rd Party Access ID is. I checked my AT&T Account and don't see any reference to a 3rd Party Access ID. I don't have any linked accounts so maybe that's why I don't see a 3rd Party Access ID?

Please provide updates, when possible, so myself and MrRandyB are aware of the current status of the issue and when it will be resolved. Thanks.

ms14pink, if you are using your att.net email address and app password, you shouldn't have to worry about the curveball @AATHelp just threw you. Forget about 3rd party access I.D., it's an ATT smokescreen. U-Verse is on its way out, you can't subscribe to U-Verse anymore, you can only keep the service if you already have it, but probably not for long. My guess is letting the app become unusable is the first step in getting rid of U-verse service for good. If they wanted to fix the app, they could have done it in under 24 hours, it should be a quick, simple fix and they have no desire to do so.  Pretty sure @ATT are the ones who broke it in the first place. Stay tuned.
