U-verse internet service good, customer service bad
My U-verse internet and phone service has been good since receiving it, however since the beginning my customer service has been bad.
It all started when I signed up for service; somehow they lost their record of me ever signing up? How is that possible, so I signed up again, this time through an authorized re-seller, AT&T Savings, but the individual lied to me about the service and promotions I would be receiving. AT&T didn't care about an authorized reseller lying and left me in charge to sort it out with AT&T Savings. After talking to about 10 service representatives including Retention specialist I was left with this resolution, either I pay more a month or I don't receive the promotion. Now I get my bill and there is a back charge for modem rental, even though I have paid $100 to purchase the modem from AT&T. So another call, and after two days talking to various representatives and managers, still no resolution. They even promised to call me back, but they did not. It's pretty simple remove the charge from my account; it shouldn't be on there. Definitely not happy with the customer service so far, I would not recommend to others.
