In regards to your question, we see this from time to time and have answered it on the forums. If you switch to DIRECTV from U-verse, you will be able to switch without penalty.

I guess not...

I just changed from Directv to Uverse and Directv charged me $300 cancellation fee. $20 per month. Directv was ALWAYS losing the signal. I made 7 phone calls and they still woud not remove the fee. Also blaned each other. Said they were in competition with each other.
