I need to lower my bill.

I started off paying $120 for a 2 year contract and since then I've been paying $303 a month. I tried calling to get it lowered and I actually got someone to get me a lower bill than my original price, but when the bill came it was $303. I called back after that and complained again and spoke with someone who said that they couldn't find any information that I was told a lower price. I like ATT Uverse and don't really want to go to another company. Has anybody had any luck with getting their bill lowered?

I've had some luck getting them to lower my uverse bill.

Here's what I would do

- Try to get another monthly promo on uverse

- If you have an existing promo, get it extended

- Try to get an existing promo on your current promo

- Check to see if you can link your AT&T wireless and uverse service for a discount

- Cancel premium channels like HBO or Showtime or get them free for a couple of months

- Sign up for a contract if you're not going to move and if it saves you money
