Cancel U-verse and switch to DirectTV
I will be moving in the next month and want to cancel U-verse. Can I cancel U-verse and switch to DirectTV without paying any penalties? I will be out of my promotion period for TV in July 2020. However I had to upgrade my internet since I am working at home due to the coronavirus which may of entered me into another promotion for bundling. If I am unable to do this without a penalty ultimately I will just pay whatever fee and take my business elsewhere...

no even though they are owned by At&t they are different entities. You will have to pay the etf from uverse and start with directv the only time I’ve seen them waive the fee is if uverse isn’t available at your new house and even that hit or miss
