Digital Life Thermostat

Can I remove all programming/scheduling on my thermostat.  Since my digital life has cancelled my thermostat has completely stopped working the way it was initially set up, it was not running a program or schedule, I could set the temperature and it would remain at that target temperature until I changed it.  Now it appears it's running on programs, which I've reset and it still is working that way.  I want to be able to put in the temperature I want the house to be at and remain at until I change it.

@Big57

Thank you for the images you sent. I believe this is your thermostat. I researched and found the following information for you.

Your thermostat comes pre-programmed with preset temperatures for different times of the day.

  1. Heat - Runs when you have the heat on.
  2. Cool - Runs when you have the AC on.

These programs will always run but If they do not fit your needs, you can always input a custom program.

If you manually change the temperature, it will revert back to the program above at the designated time.

TO CHANGE THE PROGRAM: (The HEAT program and the COOL programs are separate.)

  1. Make sure the thermostat mode is set to either HEAT or COOL
  2. Touch MENU then touch PROGRAM. This puts you at the PROGRAM screen [see page 4].
  3. The programmed start time is displayed in the upper left. The TIME SLOT icon indicates the active TIME SLOT in the default program [MORN, DAY, EVEN, NIGHT].
  4. The programmed Target Temperature is shown on main display.
  5. Select the day you want to program.
    1. The day of the week starts at SU - Sunday and can be advanced to the day you want to program.
    2. Touch the day of the week area to cycle through the days of the week to the desired day. The HOLIDAY is at the 8th day position and has two time slots.
  6. Select the time slot (period) you want to program (MORN, DAY, EVEN, NIGHT).
    • Touch the time slot area to cycle through to the desired period.
  7. Select the desired start time of that time slot.
    • Touch the time arrows to select the desired period’s starting time. Hold arrow down for fast time scrolling.
  8. Select the desired target temperature for that time slot.
    • Touch the +/- arrows to select the desired period’s temperature.
  9. To COPY one day’s programming to the next day, touch COPY DAY once.
    • The information for the current day will be copied to the next day which will appear on the screen.
  10. Holding down COPY for over 3 seconds will copy to all 7 days.

Touch the HOME ICON to return to the Home screen.

TO MANUALLY CHANGE TEMPERATURE:

  1. Touch the +/- arrows to select your desired Target Temperature. This temporary change in target will revert to the programmed target at the next time slot .
  2. Touch HOME to return to operation.

Hello,

You should be able to operate your thermostat locally. One of our thermostats does run a program in the background by default. You will need to create a program for that model.

Would you please tell me what model thermostat you have installed. Digital Life installed either a Honeywell thermostat with a full screen or a smaller thermostat with minimal screen display. Is your thermostat the same as the picture I attached?

I have a different thermostat.  I do not want to run it on a program though, I adjust my air depending on temperatures outside and at different times during the day based on how comfortable it is.  I don't want certain temperatures set by programming throughout the day, I want to set my thermostat on a temperature and have it run accordingly to that particular temperature until I decide to change it and adjust it accordingly at that time. Here is a picture of the thermostat I have. Thank you
