WSJ 2019 App
World Scout Jamboree 2019 App
Hey everyone,
I know it's already been two years, but I attended the World Scout Jamboree two years ago, but there's something that really bothers me:
AT&T hosted the official WSJ 2019 App (here's the link for IOS https://apps.apple.com/us/app/2019-world-scout-jamboree/id1246746633#?platform=iphone even though I use Android, because the App doesn't exist on the Playstore anymore, so that's all I found.)
Long story short: I used the "Journal" within the app to document every single day. A lot of time passed and I checked back on the app, just to see that I can't access it anymore (It's saying something with: "The Application couldn't connect to the internet. Please check your connection and try again."; It was in German for me though, so I translated that.)
My final question now: Is there any way for me to get access to the Journal within the app again? Just being able to copy it out of there to save it somewhere else would be very cool. Or rather: Is the data lost already?

Thanks for your time reading this
Hope someone can help
Have a great day :)

@Linus_M
It's not AT&T's app or server, so no, they can't.
If the BSoA have stopped supporting the app, it's likely purged everything.

@Linus_M AT&T sponsored the event and probably furnished extra wireless portable towers for wireless access. They did not furnish the servers. The Apps for Apple and Google are pulled by the developer when no longer needed or supported.

We're here to help provide more information on the 2019 WSJ Jamboree App @Linus_M.
Upon further research, this app is no longer available for use and was only available to iPhone and iPad devices. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We hope this help! Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

You can only access on ios, you said you use android. So you must aquire an iPad or iPhone to use the app. This is kind of a self answering question, at least to this point..

First of all thanks for the help!
I have now tried it on an iPhone and as expected it can't connect to the servers anymore. Is there a way to turn them on again for a brief moment. I'm pretty sure the data can't be lost, right?
I'm not sure if there was some sort of login system, because if not, I have to use my Android phone to access it.

if they have retired the app or no longer support it they are not gonna just turn it up for a brief moment for you to access it.

The thing is I still have the application installed on my Android device. I just can't connect to the server.
Is there anyone I can contact to turn on the server for a brief moment?
Or any way to even know if the data still exists?
Thanks in advance

Thank you for reaching back to us @Linus_M!
We are unable to turn the World Scout Jamboree App back on as the application is currently not available. Check out your device's Backup & storage options on our Device Support page and enter the correct device at Change Device, to help you back up important information and restore your device if needed in the future.
We hope this helps! Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community!
