Mobil Security app won’t open

Hello @Hopalong_1, we understand your concerns with the Mobile Security app not functioning properly on your device and we want to help.

We'd deeply advise that your next steps would be to delete the app from your device, then attempt to reinstall. Also, you may need to update the app itself rather than your whole device.

If the AT&T Mobile Security app doesn’t update properly from the App Store, you may also try this:

1. Go to Settings on your device and tap General.
2. Tap Software Update and make sure you have the latest version. If you don’t, update it now.
3. Close settings and open the App Store.
4. Tap Updates, and select Update next to AT&T Mobile Security app.

I have iPhone 13pro max iOS15.1 and had dame issue. I deleted app. Reboot iPhone, turned off wifi then download the at&t MobileSecurity app. It now works when turning wifi on. 

apple is actually having an issue with app updates on wifi with selecting automatic updates. Best is to turn wifi off, then select each app individually to update. Then reboot device, then go on wifi. It has something todo with the private addressing with VPN on wifi currently. (According to Apple support; because i was getting denied download of updates on all apps unless done individually on cellular)

The info. helped me. I updated the app and it still didn't work. I then Uninstalled it. I then had the option to update. I pressed update. The app now loads and scanned my apps and files!

The app started working correctly on it’s own after turning off the phone overnight. 

I ended up turning the phone off overnight. The next day it was working fine, and no problems since.
