ATT Unlimited Premium Plan and HBO Max
I have ATT Unlimited Premium Plan. When I try to log into HBO Max through ATT it says that the plan is not eligible. I can't upgrade. I can only downgrade. So why isn't this plan eligible for HBO Max?

@sandblaster It's INTERNET plans that have HBOMax on grandfathered plans.

thank you. But I don't have the ability / choice to enroll in those Unlimited Plans. So why isn't AT&T Unlimited Premium on the the list?

The last plan that included HBO Max was unlimited elite which was discontinued several months ago and replaced by unlimited premium. The main reason for discontinuing unlimited elite and replacing it with unlimited premium was to get rid of HBO Max. As to why ATT did that, it probably had something to do with them selling Time Warner. If you want HBO Max now, you’ve got to pay for it.

We can definitely know how important it is for you to still have access to HBO Max with your unlimited plan, and we want to explain why we no longer offer HBO Max with the desired plan, @escooper.
We want to think our ACE's for the helpful information they've provided you with. Be advised, the suggested plan offer has expired and is no longer supported by AT&T. If you're looking to subscribe to HBO Max, you'll need to change your plan.
We do apologize for this inconvience to you, and thanks for contacting the AT&T Community Forums for help.

@ATTHelp Please don’t give incorrect information. There is no plan anyone can change to that includes HBO Max. HBO Max is only included on grandfathered plans.

If you have HBO through several TV service providers you may have access to HBO Max. Link below has more info.

Unlimited Premium is not eligible for free access to HBO Max
The older version Unlimited Elite does but it's not available except for people that already have it so it became grandfathered.
