Channels other then sports getting blacked out on Uverse.com?

I don't have a TV in my room right now so I was trying to watch the channel I wanted to on the Live TV part of Uverse.com. The channel isn't a sports channel and it says it's blacked out. Why do channels that aren't centered around sports get blacked out too?Thanks

Universe TV 8 error

I now get an 8 error with a box with an red X in it.  I have tried turning off and unplugging for 10 second several times, even had it unplugged overnight.  I also tried resetting it as mentioned on the internet.  I believe I need it reset there?? Sherry Angelo

Got rid of AT&T TV and now CAN'T log in with AT&T 1000 Internet
