I need to add a wifi extender to my Arris NVG599 for my Ring doorbell. It must be 2.4GHz 802.11 BG&N only. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

None have worked for me...I tried MAC Filter list, changing the preferable band (either 2.4ghz or 5.2ghz), changing a couple of settings into the 192.168.1.

Hi we have just had a new Arris BGW 210-700 installed yesterday via AT&T field tech. Out-of-the-box the 2.4 and 5 ghz are enabled and it should broadcast wi-fi with no issues. Well, it seems all the wi-fi devices connected to the 2.4 are extremely slow when the 5 ghz devices are at normal speeds. Ha
