I cannot call my parents landline from my cellphone. It rings once and then clicks off. I have had everything unblocked, restarted,etc. The wireless people have checked everything on my cellphone and the landline people have checked the landline. No one has a clue - any ideas?

I have a home phone (landline) and a Panasonic answering machine. I just worked with a service rep at at&t to set up the voice mailbox. I don't want to use the mailbox, I want all unanswered calls to go directly to the answering machine to leave a message.
