I get tons of spam that goes to an an old att.net email address. I guess I had it forwarded to my sbcglobal.net email address. How do I get rid of the att.net email?

For some reason a lot of my new emails are going directly to the trash folder. I have no idea why this has started or how to correct it.  Does anyone have any suggestions of how to correct this problem?  My att address is being managed via Yahoo.
