Bandwidth significantly drops

Our bandwidth subscription is for 1Gbps. We never reach this bandwidth number (measuring at the AT&T router), but early in the morning and in the evening we are typically getting 750-800Mbps, up and down.  For the rest of the business hours though, bandwidth drops and we measure 250-300Mbp

Internet speeds

I am paying for 1000 mbs but internet speed tests show download speeds of 30 mbs and upload speeds of around 50 mbs. That isnt even 10% of what I'm paying for. I'd be happy for speeds in the 300 to 400 mbs. Can't even watch directtv now cause it keeps buffering.

Is ATT's speed test reliable?

I recently tried using the speed test on ATT's smart home manager. I ran the test twice and each time yielded a speed of 998Mbps which is pretty close to the 1000Mbps I pay for.
