Installment Plan with current promo trade-in worth it?

I own an iPhone 13 mini that AT&T is saying I can trade-in and get $1000 in bill credits for. If I then buy an iPhone 14 Pro, for ~$1000 and use those bill credits, it's a "free" phone in 36 months and all I did was pay for the taxes, upgrade fee, and gave them my 13 Mini. (Did I miss anything?)
