Visual voicemail
Well this was working when i first got the phone. Now it's not. I cannot even access the clear cache to clear the cache..what is the real issue here?

The first action that you will want to take is to power your device off for 1-2 minutes before powering it on again. This will close all operating system, programs, and finalize all pending input and output operations before restating the device with a soft reboot.
Afterwards, you should be able to access the cache and data settings after restarting your device. If not, let us know what happens when you try to reach those settings.
It's also worth noting that power cycling your device as mentioned above helps reconnect your device to the network. If your experience persists despite the first step then reach back out and let us know the signal strength of your device, whether it's poor or strong.
Your phone needs a wireless connection to receive calls, access voicemail, download Visual Voicemail messages, and get voicemail notification alerts. What's more, you can find detailed visual voicemail troubleshooting steps at AT&T Device Support Center.
After selecting your device's make and model choose Voicemail followed by Fix voicemail issues to start a flow to troubleshoot voicemail issues.
