text messages automatically deleting before you can read them!!!!!

I have a Samsung galaxy note 4 that's only 3 weeks old and from day 3 text messages have been disappearing before I can even open them and some of the ones I send disappear as soon as I send them!!!! I turned off the control that only let's you send so many texts, I've reset my phone...this is so annoying and I'm about ready to throw th stupid thing out the window. It's so unprofessional to have to ask people to resend their texts because your phone deletes them 24/7. I've read some people have turned off the text message backup program an it's helped....how do I do that?!

Here is an article that offers 2 possible solutions. Apparently this is a widespread problem

I do not recommend that anybody purchase the Note 4! Regardless of the "tips" everyone is giving to fix the "deleting messages" issue, it doesnt work- there is no soluation. There's simply a glitch with the phone that seriously needs to be worked out. I've sent my phone back twice, and recieved brand new ones. I still have the same problem.

However, if your phone is backed up, you can do a facorty reset, and all the "deleted" messages will reappear... Still doesnt fix the problem. New messages will unfortunatley still disappear.

I've got a Note 4 and get tens of texts daily without issue. I'm not sure what issue you're having, but it's not a general Note 4 issue.

I went to the AT&T site and figured out how to unsubscribe to the program that saves your texts to the system online and since I've done that I haven't had a problem. But I haven't text as much today as normal so I'm not 100% sure it's fixed the problem.
