TABLET WITHOUT IMEI number
I bought a tablet at Best Buy through the samsung website, so I don't have an IMEI number. Can I still add to my ATT plan?

The IMEI is on the device itself... IF that device actually has a SIM card slot. Doesn't matter where you got it.
You have to be sure that tablet will even accept a SIM card. Not all do. Some are WI-FI only and would not even have an IMEI number.
If yours does have a SIM card slot, then look at "Setting" > "About Tablet" > on that page should list the IMEI number after model number.

Imei would also be on the box.
No imei, no cellular. A wifi only tablet, and would have been advertised as such
