Tab s5e software update

My Tab S5e model SM-T727A is stuck to Android 9, Baseband version T727AUCU1ATB1 (dated Mar. 24, 2020).  Both FOTA and Samsung Smart Switch  shows the softwere version is current.  But AT&T web shows there have been 3 updates to Android 10 since my version for the device. The Samsung tech stated AT&T is responsible for the problem  while the local AT&T people told me I should get help from the manufacture for the issue.  Hopefully I can get some helps or advices here.

Hello @frank3901,

We'd like to look into why your Tab S5e can't update to the most recent software.

Are you receiving error messages when you try to update your software?

Please let us know.

Hello Jonye,

I appreciate your looking into the issue.

Yes, when I did "Settings-->Software update-->Check for updates", I received the message "Current software is up to date".

As someone suggested, I tried clear data of "Google Service Framework" app and restart the tablet, but the result was the same.

Thank you!

Hi @frank3901

Have you tried doing a factory reset of your device? That can sometimes trigger a software update. If you try this, be sure to back up your photos and any other data you want to save.

Hi Darais,

I tried but it only went up to the version dated Mar. 24, 2020.

Thanks.

Hi @frank3901

Another possible cause of this issue may be the SIM card. Ensure that your SIM card is properly mounted inside the device; if it is, you may want to visit a store to get a new one and see if that's effective.

Was wondering also why my att Galaxy tab s5e hasn't received any updates since March 2022. Is this the last for this tablet or is my tablet not receiving update anymore.
