Separating Call History from Text History from Video History in the Phone Recent List

Hi,

I've got an ATT Samsung J7 2018, running Android 9 with One UI ver. 1.1.

When I click on Phone, Recents, I get a listing of all texts and mobile calls made, in and out.  For instance, if I call my daughter today, and later the same day, or the next day, or a month ago, when I click Recents it will show her name with every call or text between us, made in or out. 

The reason I don't like this is because when I go to Phone to make a call to anyone, and say for instance, there was a recent text between me and my daughter, it appears in the "Phone" list, and it says 'Mobile", and I think I missed a phone call from my daughter.  But when I look closer, I see that although it says "Mobile", there's a text icon, so it really represents the recent texting between us.

Yesterday, I stumbled upon a menu selection for the phone that has a setting to select show both calls and text, or just calls.  I believe it showed up when I pressed Phone, ..., and then settings.  But now I don't see it anymore.  I have the 186 page manual, but it is of no help.

Phone app has no such settings.

Anyone know how to separate calls from texts in the phone app?
