Samsung S22 Not Updating.

AT&T diagnostic software say my phone is up to date and that may have been true for when it last updated, however I have NOT received any new update for anything since May 2022.  I contacted Samsung and they advised me to contact AT&T because they are the ones to push our the updates.  I have reset my phone that didn't work, have used smart switch that didn't work so how do.i get the LASTEST NEWEST IPDATES for my Samsung S22 on AT&T network.

May I know the Android Security Patch? I'm in similar situation. I'm less interested in overall software update but I need Security Patch at least from Feb 2022. That would typically come from routine software update. I did call Samsung but they are not confirming the latest software release other than confirming that S22 (not plus or Ultra) is still at Jan 2022 for Security Patch.

My based band version is still at S901USQU1AVA7

@ATTHelp It doesn't help. If know how to check all latest version, I'd at least know how to try to look for latest update. I'm doing that daily these day given some of the work software stopped working due to security reason.

Having latest hardware has become so useless. I'm so regretting giving my up S20 and getting one of the crappiest Galaxy series I've owned since S4 ages ago.

Is your Samsung Galaxy S22 an AT&T brand? The software update releases on our website are only available for AT&T branded devices. Keep in mind:

  • The update may not work if you brought your own device to AT&T.
  • You can check with the original carrier or manufacturer for software updates.

Let us know how it goes. If your Samsung S22 is an AT&T device there are some steps that we can try that can help get that update to your phone.

Yes, it is Galaxy S22 ATT branded (still network locked).

I've already asked Samsung. They have not given me new base band version but told me that Security Patch is still Jan 2022. I need at least Feb 2022.

I've other much cheaper Samsung phone, it has security updates from June 2022. Folks I know using S21 are on July 2022 update. I've no idea why S22 is so neglected.

Hope that maybe this information is help and can tell you something as to what is going on, i do know from researching on Samsung website that there are many new updates for the Samsung S22 series.  One last note I do believe that the phone is unlocked.

Same issue here.  Got 2 S22 locked ATT phones. One can get security updates all the way to September update.  The other one keeps saying no update when it’s still in June security update.

tried suggestions above and none worked.

Any one has possible solution? TIA

I have the same issue. My ATT S22 (purchased from Samsung directly) hasn't gotten any update since May 2022. My partner's S22 just got ONEUI 5. What's going on? His device was purchased from ATT.
