Note 9 - After the latest update my Location notification in the task bar stays on and draining battery faster
I've already gone into my app permissions and had to re-deny Google using my location all the time because after the last update it reset it to all the time instead of when using the app... I've checked all my other permissions and have them all set to "only when in use".
However, the location notification pop's up and stays on unless I restart my phone..then within a few minutes it's back and my battery life has gotten much shorter.

Hello roadking0678, we're here to help you with your location notification draining your battery.
You can access and adjust notifications, and turn notifications on or off by reviewing the following article.
TURN ON/OFF NOTIFICATIONS: Select the switch next to the desired app to turn a specific app's notifications on or off.
Also, try running performance diagnostics using Samsung's Device care tool.
From Settings, tap Device care, then Battery. When you choose Power mode you can maximize your phones battery life by enabling Optimized, Medium, or Maximum power savings.
The Quick Optimization feature identifies apps that use excessive power, clears unneeded items from memory, deletes unneeded files, and closes background apps - all of which will improve your phones performance dramatically.
Let us know if this helps, and thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums.

Thank you for the reply, my battery was already set to optimized
I kept checking my permissions and found It's actually the Google App...even with Location Permission set to when the app is running it's still accessing my location all the time. I had to set the Google app to "Deny" for it to turn off.
