Network unlock

I have submitted a network unlock request and although I clicked on the link sent to my email that was asked, when I check the status on the device status page, it states it's pending and I can not submit a new request nor does it seem like it's moving forward to send me an unlock code.

Imei: (Edited as per Community Guidelines)

Request number: (Edited as per Community Guidelines)

It would be great if I could talk to a human who had access to processing these requests or even better if someone would send me an unlock code so I can use my phone.

Hello @Darkjeebus, we understand the importance of staying updated on your unlock request. We're happy to provide informaiton to resolve your concerns.

If your unlock request is in pending status, this means that it is under review. In some instances, you may need to confirm an unlock request via email. If you do not see the email, check to see if it is routed to your primary email folder, in others, it may have been routed to spam. So, check spam and trash to make sure the email did not go there.

In addition, that is correct, you will need to wait for the original unlock request to expire before submitting a new request. We encourage you to review the unlock requirements and how they may impact your unlock request.

  • The device must be designed for use on, and locked to, the AT&T wireless network.
  • If a new AT&T device, active service for a period of time is required.
  • It must not be reported lost or stolen.
  • It’s not associated with fraudulent activity.
  • All the device’s service commitments and installment plans are completed, and all early termination fees are paid in full.
  • The device is not currently active on a different AT&T customer’s account.
  • If you performed an early upgrade, you must wait the 14-day buyer’s remorse period before you can request to unlock your previous device.
  • Visit our Unlock Support page for the full requirement list

Of course, you can stay updated on the status of your unlock request with the steps below:

  1. Click the link in your *Text message to check your status. If you are a **non-AT&T customer, click the link in your Email follow steps 2-4.
  2. Go to our Status Portal.
  3.  Enter your IMEI Number & Request Number.
  4. Follow the prompts.

We're here if you have any questions. Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

Ok, so does that mean the system is entirely automated?  And I still don't understand why after clicking the link to confirm it still states pending and says that I have yet to click the link.  Is there no back end?  How long do I have to wait or is it stuck indefinitely as it's already been 2 days already.  Is it going to eventually time out and have me start over?  I sure hope it spits out an unlock code eventually and I don't have to do it again because of some weird glitch
